Weddings
Congratulations! You've decided to take the plunge, and you want to get married at St Georges.
First - are you eligible to get married at St Georges? To do so,
a) One of you must reside in the parish, or be on the electoral roll.
b) You must both be over 18 by the proposed date of the wedding, or have your parents consent.
c) you must be prepared to pay £587 ! Eeek! more money! Here's why
d) you will need to have your Banns read, in both of the parishes you and your intended spouse live. For this you need a form MB1 available from all good vicars.
Which means you have to go and see David! You could e-mail him, but it would be nicer to go and see him. He makes a reasonable cup of tea, but just don't mention cricket or Manchester Utd!
You need to book your wedding as early as possible to avoid disappointment, and make it the the first thing you book, not the last!!
Once you've done all this, booked everything, and shelled out vast amounts of money, have a very happy and memorable day!
And don't forget to send us a photo to go on our wedding pages...
