St Georges' Five Year Stewardship Plan.

Giving Enables Mission

"To know Christ, and to make Christ known, to the Glory of God"

GEM is our five year stewardship plan, concerned with time, talents and money. Elements of Church life have been summed under the acronym, "PRAISE"

P	- Prayer, Worship & Devotion
R	- Religious Education, Christian Nurture
A	- Administration, Housekeeping & Maintenance
I	- Internal & National Mission
S	- Service, Pastoral Care & Outreach
E	- Evangelism

Each of the sections have been listed for action over the short, medium or long term. So far we have achieved the following:-

1) The Choir now practices in Church before services.

2) There is a Crèche during the 10am service

3) Lent breakfasts have been arranged before the 10am service

4) A Fund-Raising committee has been established, and has already raised substantial amounts.

5) A Maintenance Committee has been established to look after the Church and grounds.

6) The Overseas Missions and Charities Committees have been coordinated.

GEM is ongoing, and we look forward to achieving more goals in the future.
