February’s meeting will be held at Colins house on the 20th from 730pm, and will be a pot luck supper with Oriental theme, contact Colin if you need further details!
St George's Men's Group - MOG, meet once a month on a Friday night, usually the 3rd Friday of each month.
What do we do? Eat, drink, socialise, have a laugh. Learn stuff about God & Jesus. Discussions about being a "Man of God", proud of your faith and not afraid to let others know it. There will also be trips out (yes, probably a brewery), speakers coming in. But, the programme is not set in stone. If you have a burning desire to tell the group something, or know of a wonderful speaker, a great place to visit (a brewery?) - anything really, then let's hear it and get it organised.
The programme for this year is currently being updated and finalised, ideas are always welcome....
The group is for all men of the Parish, not just those few who worship regularly on a Sunday. Do you want to find out a bit more about your faith or wonder why blokes do go to Church on a Sunday? Then this might be for you. Come along and find out!
