Lent Resources.
Each year St Georges runs a Lent Course - a series of workshops based around a theme. The notes from the courses are now available in PDF format for download, starting with Lent 2009. Lent2009.pdf (153kb)
In 2009 we tried a new idea - a blog for Lent. Each day during Lent, a member of the Church added a thought, prayer, poem - whatever they wanted as we journeyed through Lent. The Blog can be viewed here. Lent Blog 2009.
Please note that the blog appears in "reverse order" as it shows the most recent entry - Easter Day - first.

We have three Easter plays written by Carol Frost which are available for download and are free to use. Both are shareware and whilst free to use, a donation to St Georges to reflect the work of the author would be appreciated.
"Voices in the Darkness" is a Passion play depicting the Easter story.
It is available in a Word document here - voices.doc (44kb)
"The Gospel according to Some Others" is a set of monologues told by various people, set in the years after the death and ressurection of Jesus.

"Some views from the Upper Room" is set in the last few days and immediately after the betrayal of Jesus.
