Confirmation

All are welcomed to be confirmed at St Georges, whether children or adults. The actual ceremony can take place at any of the churches with in the Shirley Group. There is a confirmation course you need to attend first, which lasts a few months and takes about an evening a week, and is very informal, and is run by Rev David Frost, with help from Brian McGuiness. Both make a fairly good cup of tea, and may even stay on topic now and again!

If you want to become confirmed, you must first have been baptised (or "Christened"). Note the link for further information on Baptism. This can be combined with the Confirmation Service if you want.

Once that's sorted you need to speak to David about becoming confirmed, and the Contact page will give you his details.

Both Baptism and Conformation can be held in private if you so wish.
