We are pleased to announce today, the 3rd March 2013 that the Reverend Barry Hengist, presently Assistant Curate at St James, Weybridge, in the Diocese of Guildford, has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of St George the Martyr, Shirley by the Bishop of Southwark, The Rt Revd Christopher Chessun, subject to satisfactory completion of the necessary procedures.
